VoxArticl8

VoxArticl8 (a play on the word 'articulate') is an engaging speaking service that uses a unique story-telling tool to inspire , motivate, educate, and challenge young audiences and school groups on key social, political, economic and global issues. It is hoped that by using global events as a reference point, young people will be enabled to see the bigger picture. This will encourage them to raise their own personal aspirations, make more constructive life and career choices, and positively seek to impact their communities.

Our VoxArticl8 sessions are also interactive and fun, and generally last no more than two hours. They also incorporate an impromptu public speaking exercise which members of the young audience or school group would be encourage to get involved in

Some of our recent VoxArticl8 program topics for schools and youth groups

  • The Oil, Coltan and Cocoa Prism: Conflict in Africa, Consumerism in the West
  • The Funny Art of Communication
  • The Emperor’s New Clothes
  • From Mumbai to Lagos: A Tale of Two Megacities
  • War and Diplomacy
  • The ‘U’ in the United Nations
  • There’s More to Timbuktu

These fun and interactive programs touch on a broad range of global themes – poverty, natural resource conflict, climate change, famine, urbanisation, human rights, conflict resolution, terrorism, aid, globalisation, economic development – and more. We use our unique story-telling method to get across key life messages that will inform, challenge, inspire and motivate young audiences.

We’re always developing new programs and talks, though we’d be happy to adapt existing ones or create new ones to suit your youth or school group. Please contact us if you’d like further information on any of the above listed programs.
